Cremation Questions

If you are searching for cremation service providers in Ogden, we ask you to be thorough and detailed with any questions you may have about the cremation process. At Leavitt’s Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, we are often asked if we own our own crematorium. The answer is yes and we also encourage you and your loved ones to take a tour of crematory. Since we have our own crematory, you don’t have to worry about us transporting you or your loved one to a third party crematory. Funeral homes and cremation societies that don’t have their own crematory have to transport you or a loved one else where for the cremation to occur. Another important question to ask is how does the funeral home or cremation society maintain identification of you or your loved one. At Leavitt’s Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, we provide you or a loved one with a metal ID tag and a tracking number. We keep track of the arrival date, time and our technician’s name, and it allows us to keep track of you or a loved one at every stage of the cremation process. Personal items are logged in at this stage for return to the family.
