Delores D. Smith
On a beautiful spring day, May 7, 2010, our loving mother Delores Smith 81, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born October 13, 1929 in Rockville, Utah to Irving and Maxine Dalton. She graduated from Ogden, High School in 1948 and in 1965 she graduated from Weber State University as a Dental Assistant. She retired from the Defense Depot Ogden.
Delores took great pride in her Flower Gardens and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sister Bonnie Burnett, brother Dace Dalton, daughter Diane Voigt and daughter Ava Wakefield. She is survived by her sister Joann Larkin, children Jan Syme, Debra Paul, Doug Wakefield and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom, you have been an inspiration to us all and beloved by so many. You will be missed more than words could ever express!
The family would like to thank Hearts for Hospice for all of their help and support.
Graveside service will be held Monday May 10, 2010 at Ogden City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
