I am saddened as I heard of the passing of Uncle Dee. I have great memories from my childhood of him. He was always the man that could do everything. He would fix my mom's car everytime she needed it, take me with the family on vacations, and whatever needed done. I remember one vacation to Catalina Island where we were the tiny boat in the big ocean where we were caught in some fog. It was so dense that we couldn't tell which direction to go. He had me go up front to listen for the fog horn. I pointed in the direction I thought and he would say, "Are you sure" He steered in that direction even though he didn't want to. I have never forgotten the trust he had in me. I hope that you can feel a spirit of comfort and peace. Please let my mom know of services and she will let me know. I would like to be there.
