Dear Sandra, Georgia, Utana and Patti,

My sincerest condolences to you and your families. Though we have not seen each other in many years I do remember your summer trips to Santa Fe with great fun and much laughter.

I spoke with Uncle George last March when I was in Santa Fe visiting my mom. He seemed to be in good spirits and was eager to make sure we received his picture which was probably taken at Valentines Day by the big red hearts in the back ground.

It was a suiting picture capturing him surrounded by love, family, friends and a big smile.

Your dad will be remembered with a warm spot in my heart. He once sent me his book along with a nice letter.

I know that he is resting in God's gentle embrace and smiling down on his beautiful family that I'm sure makes him quite proud.

Though my mother (Felicia) is not as strong herself anymore, I know that she would love to be there with you, and believe me when I say that her brother has and will continue to be in her prayers.

May the love shared between you and your families keep you comforted in this time of sorrow.

Our deepest sympathy,

Aunt Felicia, Your Cousin Melinda, Husband Bob and daughter's Cassie and Annalise.

Dear Gonzales and extended family,

My condolences go out to you all, with love... The Chavez/Griego family (daughter of Mariano G. Chavez)

Dear Family:

During times like this it is difficult to think about what life will be like without the presence of George, a person that has been part of your entire life.

I always feel that the best consolation that you can have is in the form of a memory and they must be the most favorable ones that you can remember.

George has also been part of my life for many years and the times that we shared together or with the family are very fond memories.

My extended family in Ogden which all of you are has a favorite place in my heart and so now that I am trying to compose these few words there is an emptiness there.

But, I know time will help because my thoughts of George will not go away. And as long as the memories are there I know that healing is taking place.

Please be strong for your families.

Love as always

Paul (José)
