Wanda lived life enjoying and sharing the beauty of nature. She had many talents. She loved painting; many of her paintings grace our homes. She decorated many intricately laced wedding cakes for friends and family. She enjoyed sewing and working in her yard. She loved flower gardens and also loved to make floral arrangements.

More than anything else she cherished time spent with her family. Jesse and Wanda’s home was a favorite gathering place. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She personified strength, love and hard work. Thank you for your example.

Thank you for the opportunity to help care for Wanda. She was a wonderful example of loving your neighbor. One day one of the other residents was feeling sad. She invited her into sit on her couch. She asked her if she was cold then gave her a blanket to keep warm. They sat together in Wanda's room and watched Animal Planet for over one hour. She forgot herself and served another. My condolences to your family as you mourn your loss.
