Blanch grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. She began competing in professional roller skating and enjoyed many years teaching and won several state championships. Her career started at the Naval Supply Depot and she later retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years of service. She raised her family in Kaysville then later moved to South Ogden. Blanch was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a beautiful spirit and a huge heart. There was nothing she wouldn't do to help someone in need. Blanch loved her family. She would do anything and everything for them. She spent many hours playing, watching movies and shopping with her grandchildren. She spoiled them with her immeasurable love and time. She was a beautiful and meticulous lady who had a passion and gusto for life. She loved having a beautiful home to entertain. She and her husband loved to travel and camp in their motor home. She played in various bridge clubs for many years; she found much happiness at the bridge table surrounded by her many friends who will miss her very much. She left many precious memories for her loved ones and friends. I was so sorry to see that Blanch has gone on. In the middle 60's my then husband Don Williams and I went everywhere with Blanch and Ross. They were truly our best friends. Blanch was so helpful to me with some of the issues I was going thru. She helped me change my image of myself both outward and internal. She not only was a friend but a mentor. Even though my associated with them ended with my marriage I always have had great memories of her lovely home and her hospitality. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. My only regrete was that my friendship did not continue after my situation changed. My heart goes out to Ross and the boys as they have truly lost their sweetheart. Marcia (Williams) Owen
