Dorel Alonzo Sorensen
Dorel Alonzo Sorensen, 83 of Layton Utah, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 2, 2010 with his loving wife by his side. Dorel was born April 28, 1926 to Alonzo and Lucille Rose Sorensen in Hyrum, Utah. He was reared and educated in Hyrum, Utah.
In June of 1998 he married the love of his life, Lois Crowley. They shared 11 wonderful years together.
Dorel is survived by his wife Lois, sons Rodney and John Sorensen; daughters Deborah Givens and Brenda (Edward) Crumly; one sister Naomi Glen and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Deloy Sorensen, sister Kathleen Sorensen and 1 grandchild Sean.
As per Dorel’s wishes, there will be no services held. Cremation under the direction of Leavitt’s Mortuary.
