Vera Lillian Lane

Vera Lillian Lane passed away on March 20, 2010 from causes incident to age. She was born November 8, 1919 in Salt Lake City to John J. Donoviel and Margaret A. Hackwell. Her family moved to Ogden to open the first radiator shop when she was a child. She graduated from Ogden High School, married her high school sweetheart Paul J. Lane in 1940 and has resided here ever since. She devoted her life to raising her family but worked seasonally at the American Can Co. & later at the IRS. She is survived by her four children: P. Scott Lane (MaryAnn), J. Clark Lane (Kathy), Peggy Lane and Barbara L. Mei( Dan), 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul (1996) and her youngest son Randy (2007). The family would like to express their gratitude to her long time friend Roy and to her more recent nurse Seong and personal caregiver Christel. Family and friends will meet together at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th St. Ogden, on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 12–1:30pm. followed by a private graveside service at Mt. Green Cemetery.
