Eva Watkins Kunz
Eva Kunz passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Eva was born in Ogden, Utah on May 21, 1927 to Thomas Doxey Watkins and Mildred May Carter Watkins. Eva attended and graduated from Ogden High School in 1945. She married Arthur R. Kunz in June 1948. Together they had 3 children. Eva was an active member of the LDS church. She loved the scouts, primary and the relief society. She worked with the elderly giving care to many. She had a great love for gardening, nature and was especially fond of reading. She loved getting to know her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they brought her much joy and happiness in her life. Eva is survived by 1 son; Gary Arthur Kunz, Roy, UT.; and 2 daughters; Margaret (Leon) Schwitzer, Hooper, UT.; Deborah (Randy) Cheney, Salmon, ID. She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur R, Kunz, 5 brothers; Norris Watkins, Joseph Watkins, David Watkins, Wilford Watkins and Ellis Watkins, 2 sisters; Mildred Reynolds and June Doxey. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, March 26, 2010 at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th St. Ogden. Friends and family may call the mortuary one half hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will be at Ogden City Cemetery.
