Sidney Izatt
Our loving mother passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 surrounded by her family after a long lingering illness. Mom was born to Reese Stoker and Donna Clark Stoker on October 5, 1943 in Ogden, UT. Mom was raised in Syracuse, UT., and attended school in Davis County. She graduated from Davis High in 1961. She married David Merl Izatt in June of 1971 and together they had two children; Brandie and Mark. Sidney and David later divorced. Mom worked at H.A.F.B. working numerous posts. Sidney retired in 2004 after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sidney is survived by her two children: Brandie, Ogden, UT., Mark, Hooper, UT., four grandchildren, her mother Donna Stoker Mildon, Sunset, UT., one sister Michael (LeRoy) Meenderink, Roy, UT., and one brother Frank (Charlene) Stoker, Clinton, UT. She is preceded in death by her father Reese Stoker. There will be a viewing held from 12:30 – 1:30pm on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th St. Ogden. At our mother’s request, a graveside service will be held at Syracuse City Cemetery following the viewing. The family wishes to thank moms hospice nurse Marj for her loving care.
