Audrey Claypool VeraldiAudrey passed away peacefully at the Mt Ogden Care Facility, on October 31, 2012, surrounded by love.She was born to John Claypool and Gladys Mueller Ernst on September 4, 1925, in Grover, Colo. She moved with her family to Utah in 1935. She attended Ogden City Schools. On May 27,1945 she married James Veraldi. He died July 8, 1992. She is survived by her sister Sally Taylor, daughters Janet (Stan) Fleming, and Karen (Brent) Wright. She was so very proud of her loving grandchildren, Jerry (Vanessa), Jeff, Jaime, Jena (Kody), Brett (Stephanie), Nikolas (Anna) Andrew (Stefanie), and great grandchildren, Dean, Blake, Braydon, Weston, Aiden, Austin, Adah and little Benjamin due in March.Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, brother Eugene Claypool, sisters, Betty Moyes and Mary Ford, and daughter Christine Tracy-Lyons and grandson Bryan. She loved being around her family and friends, playing Bingo, bus trips to Wendover, triple berry pie and her little dog Luv. Thanks to the incredible staff at Mt Ogden, Abby, Nick, Sara, DeDe and Vanessa for treating my Mom like she was your own.Services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will meet friends on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services also at the Mortuary.

Mom, I have been so blessed in my life to have you not only as a mother but as a friend. I will miss you everyday! I told Brent how do I get over someone that I have talked to or been with almost everyday for the past 56 years! And his may have to talk to me!! What a funny guy!
