Ding dong the witch is dead, but the memory of our mother lives on. Barbara Alice Gaudio, aged 69, of Ogden, Utah decided to “blow this popsicle stand” and leave us all behind.
Barbara was a kind-hearted woman; a loving mother who spoiled her family without complaint (who are we kidding? She loved to complain and be stubborn). She was sweet with a side of sarcasm, dark and dirty humor that made everyone around her laugh so hard they almost burst. Barbara loved the beach, boating, kayaking, whitewater rafting and skydiving (which ultimately took her life, but she insisted even though her daughter Cora warned her not to). She was a devout Christian and loved God with all her heart. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her…whole bunch.
She is survived by her future ex-husband of 0 years, The Sir Sean Connery; her children, Christy Slife (David), Wendy Hather, Florence, Cora (Craig), and Bryan (Kearsten); and her honorary child, Robert; her stepchildren, Shane (Lorraine) and Jason (Michelle); her grandchildren, Christopher, Lillian, Cameron, Jimmy, Joel, Ruby, Clare, Aubry Alice, Damien; and her best friend and her closest grandchild, Bradley. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Andrew and Johnathan.
Her skydiving death is preceded by the true love of her life, Richard Gaudio, who passed away in 2001, and her dear son we all knew was her favorite, Jeremiah Daniel Dunne, who passed away in 1995 after battling cancer. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Helen. She always had a great taste in men so she is also preceded in death by her ex-husband of 15 years, Patrick Frances Dunne Jr.; and ex-husband Frank McIntosh.
She will be greatly missed.
