Carla will be truly missed. She was a great support and comfort to me here at work. Carla was brilliant and could figure anything out that was puzzling me, and she was never too busy to help. I hope those that Carla left behind will find comfort in knowing how much she was loved.

Marty and Family,I guess the there is never the right words to express the sadness when someone passes we love and cherish. We always question "Why Now" we weren't ready, we try to escape our mind from the thought that they will never be with us again. But they will always be in our hearts and the memories of the good times and things we did together will forever live with us. Bless your family with peace and joy and know she was met by her mother and brother and family with celebration! Celebrate her life and continue to pass on her legacy.......... Love you Marty and mom and condolences to the family.Love Karen

Carla and I have been best friends since 7th grade. She was my maid of honor and I was hers. She was such a special person. She always saw both sides in every problem and always found the good in people. She spent her whole life taking care of other people. Her family is what kept her going. She was so proud of all of her children. She told me many times that her grandchildren where what made her smile. She excelled at her work and was a very intelligent person. Carla was always able to keep me calm under any circumstance. She was a great listener and a wonderful friend. She will be in my heart forever.

I have only known Carla for six months, but what a six months it was!. I worked as her lead at IRS. But, starting with nothing we developed a true deep connection and mutual respect. She was professional, kind, and the best listener I have ever known. She was a an amazing manager, and set a wonderful example for all of her team. None of us wanted to ever let her down. She helped us all be better employees, reach higher and spread our wings to develop our talents. There was nothing better than getting her smile of approval. She really enjoyed working with us and was looking forward to another season at IRS with "her team". She worked hard, cared deeply, and always had words of advice for anyone in need. I NEVER heard her make inappropriate or negative remarks about anyone. She looked for the positive and good in all. Being the nervous sort, she counseled me to"take baby steps" when I was overwhelmed. I think of that advice daily. She is irreplaceable, but each one of us can strive to be the employees, and people she knew we could be. Each of us can remember the advice she shared, and try to emulate her in our interactions with others. She spoke so lovingly of her family. She was proud of each one of them. May you each find solace in your memories of her.

You were my friend, my mentor and my hero. I will truly miss you each day. I will remember the fun and challenges we worked through. I will remember the advice we had for each other when we discovered our lives mirrored each other. There are just not enough words to express how much you will be missed. And finally I will remember how you glowed with pride when we talked about your family. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

I got the pleasure of working with Carla this year in Code & Edit while she was assigned to team 206 as our manager. One of the first "tasks" she gave me as a back up was to help go through some "stuff." During this little assignment she would say "when in doubt, throw it out!" I can't help but laugh every time I hear this little quote replaying in my mind. I think it was GREAT advice and I plan on using it in my life daily. If ever you should come to a part of your life that you have to doubt what your doing, get rid of it. Carla gave me the little nudge I needed to go out and try new things. She bragged about every single person in her family and she was extremely proud of her grand babies!!! I can't believe Carla has moved on to her next assignment. I do know how much she will be missed by everyone that had the privilege to get to know her. As you go about your day remember she loves you and will always be with you. Thank you Carla for helping me along my journey... God Bless...
