Obituary for Chad Juston Balliett

Chad Juston Balliett

December 30, 1991 - February 9, 2016

Chad Juston Balliett, 24, passed away February 9, 2016.  He was born December 30, 1991 to Gary and Tamara Balliett in Ogden, Utah.  Chad graduated from Fremont High School in 2010.

Chad was on this earth for only a short period of time.  With the time he was given, he accomplished so much.  He had the opportunity to work at places doing what he loved.  Chad had worked for Marshall Moto Art, Precision Diesel, and was currently employed at Hill Air Force Base.

Chad was a jack of all trades.  He could fix anything that was broken.  He loved working on all types of automobiles and the family farm.  He had a very creative mind that would show up in all the things he accomplished.  His dearest possession was his truck he and his father restored.

During his younger years Chad enjoyed many different sports.  In high school he loved playing Hockey and Lacrosse.  Later on his passions shifted gears to dirt bikes and riding his Razor.

Every year Chad looked forward to the yearly deer hunt that he would go on with his family and closest family friend (Paul Burton).  Chad loved to hunt.  Over the years he had created a collection of animals he had shot, from deer to buffalo.

His print he left here on this earth will be remembered by many.  He touched a lot of people with his silly grin and his genuine ways.  Chad we love you and you will be missed greatly.

Chad is survived by his parents Gary and Tamara Balliett; Harry, Johnnie and Durk Heywood (day dad, mom and brother); brother Cody (Serena) Balliett; sisters Toni (Wayne) Kinder, JayLynn (Blaine) Redd, Lisa (Josh) Aaron and Brandi (Clint) Kap.

Chad is preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd and Virginia Balliett; uncle, Chad Balliett; nephew, Ty Redd; and niece, Emma Redd.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have known him better. The last time I saw him he was so little and so silly. I can only imagine the man he grew up to be. May he rest in peace.

There are no words to express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Chad had became a part of our family the last few years. He fit right in. He had an unforgettable smile and so much love in his heart. To our daughter, Chad was her whole world. I will be forever thankful for Chad and the opportunity we had been given to have had him in our lives. He was such a huge help to my husband and Chad taught him so many things. Our prayers go out to you and your family. Sincerely the Nunn family.

I remember Chad from his early years. He had an amazing smile and twinkly eyes. He would smile and it would light up a room! When I heard the sad news of his passing I instantly recalled his face as a young boy. He mesmerized all those around him. He had a great laugh and I loved how he teased his Dad. We will all miss you Chad! You not being on earth with us has left a terrible hole in our hearts!! Gary & Tammy - I just adore you two and your family!!! Please know I mourn with you at the loss of your son. Words can not describe how much my heart aches for you and how I wish I could help ease your pain! Your sweet boy was amazing and wonderful! I will never forget the mark he left on my life. I love you both - you are in my thoughts and prayers! - Margo Maw

I am so sorry for your loss. Chad was so creative and capable of anything he put his mind to. He was gentil, funny and always seemed to have something to smile about. I was amazed at the things he built and the challenges that he would take on. He started out as an employee at Marshall Motoart and quickly became a trusted friend. Even after he moved on to work on base he would periodically stop by my shop to say hello and tell me about what he was up to. I will always remember the trip we took to Oregon to deliver the sign that we built and the fun we had riding around in the dunes. He had a blast riding his dirt bike along the beach and he gave me a few scares when he went a bit too big on is few of his dune jumps. He just smiled and asked "did you see that!". I miss that little guy and he will be forever missed and never forgotten. If there is anything that I can help with please do not hesitate to call. Best Regards, Chris
