Christopher Anton Swain

June 11, 1984 - March 3, 2018

March 3, 2018, the most beautiful soul was unexpectedly taken from us. Christopher Anton Swain, 33, was born June 11, 1984, to parents James and Christine in Ogden, UT. He attended Ogden High School where he met and later married the love of his life, Britney Lynn Walton.

Anton was a bright light in the lives of all who were lucky to know him.  He was best known for his sense of humor and countless jokes. He often referred to himself as “The Funniest Man Alive”. His greatest pleasure in life was laughter and he loved to spread it around. He formed a special bond with every person he knew and had a gift of letting people know they were special to him in some way.

Anton loved his large family and always valued family traditions, holidays and get-togethers. He always looked forward to spending time with his parents, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He loved traveling to new places, snowboarding, kayaking and his special hikes with his mom. He also enjoyed watching sports and rooting for whoever won and provoking arguments on Social Media.

Anton is survived by his wife, Britney; Son, Jayden; Step-Children, Jordan, Sam, and Morgan; Mother, Christine (Michael) Powell; Father, James Swain; Sister, Whitney Swain (Kurt Nasabal); Brother, Parris Swain; and Sister, Aisha Swain. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, as well as countless friends. He is preceded in death by his Brother and best friend, Recus Swain; Grandmother, Patsy Prestwich; Grandfather, Ceasar Swain; Uncle, Roy Valdez and numerous other friends and family members.

To the family and friends, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. God promises that our loved ones will come back to life. In the Bible at Acts 24:15 it says: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." What will life be like then? For comfort from the scriptures and answers to your questions, you can have free Bible studies. You may ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses to make arrangements.

I worked with Christy Swain several years ago. I remember, back then, how much Christy adored her children! I know those feelings grow stronger each and every day so, Anton, you'll be greatly missed by, not only your mom, but by everyone that had the honor of knowing you!
