Dear Linford Family: My wife and I have been on an extended trip and were out of state when your wonderful mother passed away. We are sorry we were unable to attend either her viewing or funeral. We send our love and condolences on Kit's passing. She was a unique and gifted woman whose love and loyalty to you and your great father were always inspiring. May God bless you all to remain unified in your efforts to preserve the heritage your dear parents left to you. Sincerely, Marlin and Kathy Jensen

We have been talking about how warm and energetic Grandma Kit was when we went to visit her and Grandpa Dale. She was always welcoming and had historical stories to share. The kids loved to discuss Gideon Burdick with them and were so excited when they gave them a copy of The Burdick family. I will remember her warm smile as she stood and watched her daughter in laws and family bustle about the cabins kitchen preparing holiday meals. A favorite memory will always be the road trip some of us took to Glacier National Park together. Sending love...

I'm sorry for your loss. Kit was a trooper of a Democrat back in the days when Democrats elected almost all offices in Weber County and in the State. What wonderful memories I have of her and her tremendous helpfulness. May remembering some of these times bring you happy memories. Mike Monson

I am sorry for your sadness. I remember your mom in Liberty days and the lovely and cheerful lady she was. May you be blessed at this time and find comfort in the Gospel. With love from Ruth Clark

I worked with Dale at Linford Bros. Glass. I got to meet your mother, she was a very gracious woman. I know your Dad loved her a lot. Talked about her all the time. I am sure there is a great reunion going on in Heaven.
