Clyde Richard Coy

July 26, 1929 - May 26, 2014

Clyde Richard Coy, 84, of West Haven, Utah, died May 26, 2014. He was born in Ogden, Utah on July 26, 1929 to Charles William Coy and Grace Leona Wilson.

He married his high school sweetheart, Fae Jean Hodson on April 9, 1948. They had 50 years together before she died September 19, 1998.

Clyde loved to work hard. It was something that came natural to him. Many times you could hear him whistle in the early morning hours as he went out at work on his farm. At an early age he milked many cows and continued milking cows for many years on his own little farm.

Summer would find him fishing; we ate many fish so he could catch many more fish.

He was a boilermaker and a blacksmith for over 30 years for O.U.R. & D. Railroad, then for Union Pacific and Southern Pacific Railroads.

Clyde was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed doing his home teaching.

Clyde is survived by his three children, Marilyn (Lloyd) Mills, Richard Clyde Coy, and Kenneth (Penny) Coy. He has 20 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great, grandchildren.

Dear Marilyn,Richard, and Kenneth, Sorry we weren't able to come to your Dad's services. Although I haven't seen any of you in a long time, seeing your Dad"s obituary brought back a lot of good memories. We hope all goes well for all of you. It is times like this that make us glad for Heavenly Father's Plan. May the Lord bless you and your families. Love, Delbert and Jill Hodson

Dad, You have only been gone a short time now and I miss you like crazy already!! Ken and the kids miss and love you too!! But, we just know that you at the table sharing in a feast that is made for Kings, what a wonderful homecoming it must have been for you and Momma Bear!!! Dad, I just know her darling little giggle when she saw you again must have echoed clear through the Heavens!! Oh the rejoicing that must be happening - How wonderful for you both!! We know you missed being with mom so much everyday, so dad enjoy, enjoy being with your beautiful wife within the light of glory in our Lord! Take it in dad and rest now...... Dad, just know that you both are so missed here by so many but we all know your happy and that's what matters! Give momma a kiss and hug for me! We Love you Dad!! xoxox Love, Ken, Penny, and Family LIGHT A CANDLE light a candle, see it glow, watch it dance to and fro ,but when you feel low, think of me, think of light, I'll always be here, day or night, a candle flickers, out of sight, but in your heart, I still burn bright, think not of sadness, that I'm not near, think of gladness and joyous cheer, I have not left you, I am not gone, I'm here to stay, my little one, so when you light a candle, and you see it glow, watch it dance to and fro, in your heart you will know, that I would never leave you, I'm sitting here with the Lord and now watching over you. by J and Me
