Dale S. Rowse-Trip 20’s and outDale Rowse passed away on February 17, 2012, of natural causes at his apartment in SLC. He was born in Ogden, Utah July 29, 1944, son of Lowell and Mary Rowse. Dale graduated from Weber State with a Business Major and worked in Idaho and Utah at the Bon Marche and Wolfe Sporting Goods. He finished his career as a Compensation Analyst with Unisys. (now L3 Communications). He served his country with the Army and was stationed in Germany. He married Karman Eckhardt, later divorced. He married Carolyn Redington, later divorced. Dale was a stepfather to Jana, Samantha, Shaun and Ryan Redington. He was also a grandfather to Brayden and Cade Ogilive, Savana and Kage Turnnbeaugh, Ayden and Gage Redington, Rayn Redington and Jade Bird. Dale was an avid reader, loved playing cards with friends and later on with his fellow seniors at the Golden Years Senior Center in Bountiful and at Northwest Senior Center in Rose Park. He was on his way to play his next game when his heart gave out. He had been a member of the Wasatch Dart Association and loved throwing darts with anyone who thought they could beat him. He spent many hours playing darts with his family and grandchildren and bought each grandson their own set of darts and was always up for a game. You always wanted to be on his team because he rarely lost and when Brayden his first grandson beat him in a game he knew his teaching was done. He is survived by two brothers, Gordon (Diana DiMeo) FL and Jack (Anita) Rowse, AZ and many nieces and nephews. A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Then his ashes will be spread by his family per his wishes. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Ogden, 140 North Tyler Ave., Ogden, Utah 84404. I will always treasure the friendship with Dale made through playing bridge on line. Dale's sense of humor, wonderful attitude and great play will be missed.
