I am a former classmate of Delon's, and it is with such sadness that I have discovered that he passed away in 2011. To his family and friends, I am so very sorry for your loss. Right now, I can picture clearly in my mind his Senior picture, and his smiles. The memories that it brings are of a quite guy, at times, and one that had a big smile and laughter other times. Being focused during class, and enjoying his friends during passing period, and lunch. As I write this, those memories puts a smile on my face.May he rest in peace, and watch over all that he loved daily.

To the Ottley Family: I had the pleasure of meeting and serving with Delon Ottley at the Peach Tree Assisted Living Center in Roy where he was a patient. I send my deepest and most sincere condolences to the Ottley Family in their lose of Delon. He was a very good person and I feel honored and blessed to have known Delon prior to his passing. He was a good and loving person who always had a big smile on his face in spite of the severe physical trials and tribulations he experienced daily. May our Heavenly Father be with, bless and support the Ottley Family in their loss of Delon is our prayer. Dennis and Jean Chamberlain 11-5-11

Delon was a very special person with a huge heart and always put others above himself. He had always sought ways to make a difference in this world and looked for opportunities to do so. He loved and embraced life in such a way that others wouldn't have known the many physical limitations and struggles he endured on a daily basis with the purest grace. Delon is someone we can all learn from. He was a role model. He was teacher. I am sure that God taken Delon into his arms and he is now in the company of our relatives past and in the presence of all the glory God has to offer. He will no longer hurt. He will no longer want. He can now run. He can now dance. He is now at peace! There are no words to express how much he was loved and will be missed.
