My fondest memory of Desi was of him behind the bar at the Den ...i can still see him in my mind and what a handsome man he is ! My condolences to the family ...there are no words that can comfort a loss of a loved one ...this I know. I'm thinking of you and hope that God will ease your burden of sorrow. He can see you thru this ever changing life with assurance and faith that you indeed will see that handsome man one fine day. Much Love, Christy

Dear Family, I was sadden to learn of Desi's passing. He was a dear friend for many years, and a Great Pool Player. He always had a twinkle in his eye, and always a good Greek Joke for me. May his memory be eternal for ever. He was the sweetheart of men who always worried about everyone. God be with the entire family during this time of sorrow and healing.

My thoughts and prayers are with Desi and his family at this difficult time. I have known Desi since 1979 and he was always a genuine and kind man that like to have fun and played a mean game of pool. So sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed and we are better people for having known him. (Tricky Ricky and him are probably hustling in heaven) RIP my friend.

We miss you so much already dad! Please give us the strength to make it through this difficult time. You taught me so much, but what I will forever remember is to never take no for an answer or let anyone tell me "you can't do it." There was so much more I had left to learn, but understand God needed you more. Dad, I know you are finally at peace and watching over Tracy and I from your eternal golf course. I love you, miss you, and will forever be grateful for the (too short of) time we had together.
