Dorothy (Dottie) Nemetz, wife of Paul Nemetz was welcomed into our Lord’s arms on May 18, 2016. Dottie was born in Ft. Benton, Montana on March 5, 1933 to Timothy and Nadine O’Connell. Dottie was one of six children that were raised in rural Highwood, Montana. She graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana, where she pursued her nursing degree and was later trained as a midwife in San Francisco, California.
Dottie loved the mountains and plains of the west and lived in Montana, Wyoming and Utah. She loved to create beautiful things including stained glass, needlework and especially oil painting. Her love of the outdoors was cultured through hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and skiing in the western states.
Her caring for others ran deep in her service for her church and community. With her husband Paul, she volunteered for years serving food at Saint Anne’s, and working with her fellow parishioners at the Saint Florence Church in Eden, Utah. Dottie’s entire life was devoted to the service of others.
Dottie is survived by her husband Paul Nemetz, of Eden, UT, her sons, Patrick Fallon (Patricia), McKinney, TX, Donald Fallon (Carol), Eden, UT, David Fallon, Pinedale, WY, and Charles Beans (Janine), Castle Rock, CO, as well as Paul’s son Dr. Dave Nemetz (Molly), Bondurant, WY, and his daughter, Carol Nemetz, Casper, WY.
