Dear dear Ruth, I met your dad on a couple of occasions, but like most men, he kept to himself and didn't have much to say. One thing I do know about your dad was his ability to create beautiful things from the geological wonders of this world. He created some very beautiful pieces of jewelry. He also helped create a beautiful loving daughter, who is also talented and creative and I love that I can call her my friend. He's left you behind for now to shine and continue to sparkle and catch the same light he was able to capture in his creations of jewelry. You are his greatest creation and accomplishment. You are his jewel, so go forth and sparkle for him. I'm sure he will be eternally grateful for all you have done for him in the final years of his life. I hope you will find comfort in that. I love you. LuAnn

Ed was a wonderful man> I will never forget him. He had a determination to get better, and a determination to do just as he pleased. I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to get to know him and take care of him, if even for a short time.
