Grandma,I'm not sure where to start, but first I know you are finally at peace no longer having to worry about "those' around you. You took care of everyone, and it makes me so sad that those things weren't given back to you. I can say you were an angel to my dad, your son, who also recently passed away and is now with you. He always said you were his angel. My dad was very ill and I knew that once you had gone home he would soon follow. I miss him but I also know he is no longer in pain and he is back with his angel....he is home with his mom.

To Gayle's Family,I was sorry to read of your mother's death. I enjoyed knowing her many years ago when you lived on Borg Circle. Many memories. She was a very nice lady. Sending you my sincere sympathy. Janice Kent

Gayle was a amazing lady. I'm so sad about her passing, yet I'm so happy that she is finally FREE! I spoke to her just last Monday, I loved talking with her about anything. She told me she was so tired and wished she had someone to "take care of me for a change". I am going to miss her beautiful smile, and the way she giggled when the birds would come and get their peanut she would leave in the front window where she could sit and watch. What a beautiful soul.....I loved you Gayle and I will miss you....

Dear Grandma Gayle, Oh Gayle how I wish you where alive today so we can hang out in the summertime. I loved when we drink cream soda together. I liked when you looked out your window and watch me ride a bike or scooter and RipStick. And I loved when I came to your house I got treats and we talked. Sincerely, Bray. I love you everyday and miss you. (written in a letter to Gayle from Brayden- age 8).

Where do I even start? Gayle meant the world to my family and me. In fact, I'm not even sure Brock knows she isn't his biological Grandma! Brayden and Gayle had an unspeakable bond that he holds with no one else. He loves her so much as does Brock. She came over a couple days before she passed and Brock came running to her yelling, "Grandma is here yay," and gave her the biggest hug. I went to Gayle with everything- I shared my life's triumphs as well as my trials with her. I talked to Gayle almost every day and had a cold Coke together several times a week. She is sorely missed and I love her with all my heart!

Gayle has been my friend and next door neighbor for over twenty years. She has seen me through some of the worst times in my life and rejoiced with me through the good ones. What a kind hearted woman she was. She always offered a shoulder to cry on if I was sad, a cold drink and fun conversation on hot summer days and a helping hand when you need it. Several years ago we couldn't afford to pay our water bill and it was shut off. Gayle anonymously paid it for us. That's the kind of person she was. We would always talk over the back fence while doing yard work and she would help me to know the difference between a weed and a flower. Then she would say "just a minute", go into her house and bring out a treat for my kids. They love her so much and so do I. Summer time will never be the same. Whenever I see a flower or a bird, I will think of Gayle. I cannot put into words how much she meant to us. She will be sorely missed. Even the blue birds are sad.

Gayle was my best friend, we spoke almost everyday about everything under the sun, I'm really gonna miss her banging the pans early in the morning to chase the blackbirds away from her beautiful blue birds, it really made me laugh, Gayle was the kindest, most loveable person to know, she always had a beautiful smile when I visited her, I loved Gayle very much, and I will miss her dearly everyday. Gayle, thanks for being my friend.Love AlwaysDebbie
