My heart goes out to the Mamanakis family. It was a pleasure to become acquainted with Woody and I enjoy his great sense of humor and strong testimony of our Savior. He was actively engaged in helping and serving others. I am blessed to have had his influence and friendship in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. - Friend, Ogden, UT, Feb 28, 2013

We didn't know Woody very well, except through his parents or his brother, Gary--our son-in-law. We remember how friendly and out-going he was. Our sympathies to all the family.

I remember the first time I met Woody, it was Nordic Valley ski school clinic. It was snowing and very cold and I was so bundled up he called me Ziggy, yes just like the funnies in the newspaper. I will truly miss him he always made me laugh no matter how much he teased me. I will always remember him saying "Come on Ziggy let's go hit the slopes!"

My condolences for the loss of a wonderful companion of my youth; please accept my sympathies and that of my family in behalf of your family at this difficult time. We sometimes loose contact and sometimes loose one another but, thankfully, we can keep the memories.

I remember hanging out with Woody & Cherry Underwood & Barb Benacosa during our school years. Woody was always fun to be around, always kind with a great sense of humor. I'm sorry we lost touch after our school years. I'm sure he will be missed greatly by all friends and family. My sympathy and prayers go out to those left behind. Jean Carver Gordon
