I'm so sorry I couldn't get to Tremonton for the Memorial for Ernie.I think he'd understand that I had to work and just could not get away.As I get older I find a lot of my father and him in the way I think about and do things. With condolences and best wishes to Audrey and all of you present today.Lee Brenkman

Ernie, You were always my favorite uncle! You always paid attention to me when I was young by playing catch, asking questions of me, and just being fun.Always loved that wonderful twinkle to your eyes (just like my dad had). Also remembered how you wanted to learn new things by reading and how much you loved your dog. So glad we got to visit you in 2010...Phyllis Brenkman Sheffield

Ernie, you will be missed. You were a great supporter of the VFW and a friend when one was needed. I appreciated all of the support you gave the VFW, especially when I was the Commander of Post 1481. May your soul rest in peace.
