Gary Joe Parker died on Sunday, June 9, 2013 in his home in Clinton, Utah surrounded by love from his family. His two children were with him at his time of passing.

He was born in Knoxville TN on April 1, 1949, the eldest child and only son of Fritz Parker and Barbara Letsinger. He has two sisters, Jeanette Carpenter (Johnny) and Lisa Beets (Dean) both in Knoxville TN.

He is survived by his children, May Parker-Leach (Patrick) and Joseph Parker; grandsons, Christoper Parker (Jennifer) and Ryne Leach; granddaughter, Lola Marie Parker; great-grandchildren, Sean Ryan Parker and Peyton Alexander Parker; Sister-in-Law, Ester Baker (James) and lots of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Angelita Samson parker. They were married on May 2, 1969 in Angeles City, Philippines.

He served in the Air Force and after retiring with honors he worked at Hill Air Force Base Utah. His love in life besides his wife and family was his 2005 Z-51 Red Corvette. He was a member of the Utah Corvette Club and enjoyed the road trips that took him all over the western part of the United States. His final road trip was in May 2013 with his daughter May, traveling from Tucson, AZ back to Clinton, Utah.

He is the best father we could ask for. Best brother and friend. We were lucky to have him in our life, but we are happy that he is with his love Angel, finally together forever.

I miss you Daddy. I will be forever grateful that you are my Daddy. I can't thank you enough for all you did to raise me and love me. You always made me feel special. I became the person that I am because of you and Mama. I'm glad you are with Mama now. I will never forget you, my Daddy. I love you. MayMay

You are one of the most important pieces of my family's life. I learned so much from you. Alyssa, Anna, and Rylynn were always so happy and excited when they knew Daddy Gary was visiting in his big red truck or his fancy Corvette. Even our friends referred to you as, "the uncle with the red corvette." You had the best smile and my favorite eyes. We will truly miss you, but we are all so happy you can be with Mama. We love you and we always will. We'll never forget you.

R.I.P. Gary. It was a pleasure to have known you for the short time I did. We had some cool conversations about cars especially the vettes. I enjoyed working with you on the Hill. Take care my friend! GODspeed!
