It's been nearly a month, and it's still painful, can't think of you without a tear. Hal was a man that many should aspire to be. Quick to lend a hand, loyal friend, hard worker, loved his wife....gave her everything, supported her in every way. I had a crush on him from the first moment I met him, long before he became my father in law. I often teased my husband Robert that I only married him to get to Hal. I hope he knew how much he meant to me, to us and this family. We miss his stories, his dry wit, bear hugs, and twinkling eyes. Rest in peace, dear Hal. We shall all raise a toast to you on your birthday and along with tears of sadness, share some laughs and remember all the good times.
