Dad attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Ogden High School in 1949. Dad loved to drive big trucks. He was employed by Cream O’ Weber Co., Fife Cement Co., hauled Minute-Man Missiles for Boeing Co., and retired from Parsons Cement Co. at the age of 70 years old.Dad married Bonnie Lee Bushell on June 1st 1951 they had three children at the time of her death at the age of 33. He loved to frequent local coffee shops and visit with friends. We would like to thank our mom for taking such good care of dad throughout their 43 years of marriage and especially during his illness. We all want to thank Dr. Wayment and Dr. Gray and their staff and Bristol hospice. We are grateful for the blessing that Wally and Rock gave dad before he passed away.Dad requested to be cremated and a family graveside service will be held at a later date. Whenever I saw Uncle Harvey he would scowel at me then I wold say hey old man What ya doing? He would smile and say nothing much. Sometime's it was hard looking at him because he looked so much like my Mom. Just wanted to let you know I loved him and all of you so very much! love sheila

It is difficult for me to think of enough thoughtful words of expression that clearly describe the wonderful folks that Ray was, and Peggy is. Sometime ago, I read a quote that went like this. " The greatest dignity to be found in death is the dignity of the life that preceeded it. We have been given this miracle of life because milliions upon millions of things have prepared the path for us, and inevitably when its gone, we're left to carry on the legacy. The passing of a single person becomes the the crossroads to ongoing life, and until the final days of our journey, we need to be in the company of those we love". I can say with strong conviction that Ray was always embraced by his loved ones; and had the unconditional support from a devoted and loyal family. I can not thank Ray and Peg enough for the outstanding support they provided me low the years I flew for the military, and still to this day. Ray R.I.P.Joseph P. Gutierrez
