Hazel Emmalene Bartlett

June 28, 1945 - October 16, 2016

Hazel Emmalene Bartlett, 71, went to be with Jesus on October 16, 2016.  She was born June 28, 1945 to Ralph Bartlett and Francis Huffman in Springfield, Illinois.

Hazel married Thurman McCloud and together they raised six children they were later divorced. Hazel later married and added another child to her six.  Hazels greatest joy was her love for the Lord first and her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her greatest accomplishment was the love she has for her family.  There is no greater legacy to pass on than the legacy of love she passed down.

Hazel is survived by her seven children: Jeff McCloud, Drenda (Glenn) Thompson, Karen (John) Church, Mary (Doug) Kuck, Lora (Jeff) Gasca, Tara (Mike) Boling and Dawn S. McCloud; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

(2 Corinthians 5:6)  To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ.

I just wanted to let the family know how much I loved and respected Hazel. I know her family loves her and did a lot for her everyday. I was glad for her friendship. I left Mount Ogden 3 weeks ago and missed not seeing her everyday. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. Clara Jacox

You were a light in my life! I loved you dearly❤️️ Now that you're in Heaven it is brighter, and my life is dimmer! Not only do I love you, I love each of your kids and grandkids. Everyone has a part of you in them and that makes them so special to me. Give my momma a hug for me!
