To the loving family and friends of Irene; I'm truly sorry for your loss. It's hard to put into words what a wonderful person Irene was. I grew up in the house next door to her so I knew her for all of my life. She was a very dear neighbor and friend who will be missed greatly. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know Irene over the years. I remember growing up and going over to her house just to visit and listen to the wonderful stories she would tell me of her life. I couldn't wait till fall came every year due the fact my sister and I got to play in the leaves from her tree in the front yard. I was honored to be able to get to know her over the years and she loved when I would bring my girls over to visit with her. Every halloween we would go over to her house with my children just for the simple fact she loved seeing my girls dressed up for Halloween. She would invite us in for hot apple cider and always insist on getting a picture of my girls in there Halloween costumes. I am sending my deepest sympathies to her family at this time of loss. I know for a fact the pain from loss will never go away but it does get easier day by day. You will always have her in your hearts and have an amazing guardian angel watching over your family!! God bless and hang in there!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your Mom with us at Chancellor. What a joy she was to care for, always worried if we were taking care of ourselves. What a wonderful example of unselfishness she was to each of us! We will all forever hold her memory in our hearts :) I'm so sorry I will not be able to attend her services :( Know that you will all be in my thoughts as you carry on here till you meet with her again. I know she is so very proud of her family. Take good care! Love Sallie Huntington, Chancellor Gardens
