My mother, Ilah Anderson loved Erma. We were glad when "Uncle" Ferd found such a wonderful woman to share his life with. My Dad, Renold Anderson, considered Ferd as a brother. He loved him dearly. I guess Ferd was raised by Grandma Emma when his mother died. He was very good to our family. I remember riding in his little two door Ford? (I think it was a Ford.) Anyway, I was the skinny one and had to ride in the back window. Have we not come a long ways?!!!! Your Mother was a soft-spoken, elect lady. I know my parents will be happy to see her again. Sincerely, Iris Douglas
