James Charles Patterson passed away on April 27, 2012. He was born on August 24, 1950 to Charles and Mary Patterson in Ogden, Utah. Jim attended St. Joseph’s High School and graduated from Ogden High School. He married Patricia Wentzel in 1972. He was remarried in 1982 to Jenese Lawhead. He married again in 2005 to Sharron Coltrin. Jim was a history buff, specializing in the Civil War era. Being a drummer, music was an integral part of his persona. Jim was a caring father and loving husband. Being a true head of the family; able to listen and help you solve problems. He had a way of making your stress and worries evaporate. Jim is survived by his wife Sharry Patterson, his son Joe Patterson and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. There’s a hole in the world tonight.
