Dad,It has been one year since you left us. It was a hard year for me as I am sure you have seen from there. Its weird to think that you are not on this earth anymore. I try to trick myself into thinking you are just on vacation. :-) I have so many fun memories that we made as father and daughter and I think about them often. The camping trips in the orange van and vacation to San Francisco and Grandmas house in McKinleyville, the Alpha Chi Omega father and daughter bowling day,The birth of my children, my wedding....and more.I expecially remember this time of year when you bouught 2 !!! Cabbage Patch Dolls and accessories for me at your house. I know you loved me and I know you loved your grandbabies. We love you too! I try to improve my life and my relationships with the important people in my life because I know that life is too short. Don't worry about me,Mom and my family are my rock and they are taking care of me. I miss you tons and hope you have found peace. Love you dearly!! Merry Christmas Daddy! XOXO

Uncle Jim always treated me like I was the King of the world. He would tell me to always be proud of my Dixon name and would embarrass me when he would intoduce me as the Bishop of the family! I remember his awesome Pantera car and the trip to his California home where I caught a shark when he took me fishing on the ocean. Our prayers are with Jim's family and friends....may we remember the good times.

Jim we had some fun times hunting and just hanging out at work or at your house. It was a pleasure to call you my friend. Thanks for the memories..

Pops,There's a million things you could have called me, but everytime we spoke you referred to me as "Son". We all know how much you loved Jamie and the girls, but that simple acknowledgment let me know that I was loved too.I so despretely wanted to sit down with you and a couple of beers to watch Notre Dame lose to Michigan. Guess we'll have to wait until I see you again. Maybe you'll give me that $20 you owe me?Love you Pops!Mar

There aren't any words to express my gratitude for what you have given me. I have a wonderful life, a loving family and some of the best siblings a girl could ever ask for. We had times, some good and some bad, but what we share can never be measured and is unconditional. NO regrets......... I love you~Taff

When I was growing up the highlight of our yearly trips back home to Utah were going to Aunt Dotties and seeing the boys. They were so cute and I had the biggest cousin crush on Jimmy! I will never forget my times spent at their house with all of them, MaryAnn included. Jimmy has a very special place in my heart. My Love to all the family, prayers for you for peace and strenght. All my Love, Cyndie

My Dad and I shared a special bond. I will always hold him in my heart. I loved him sooo much. Thank-you to the many people who helped him the last few years and especially in the recent months. Your job is difficult and you are more appreciated then you will ever know. My Dad is now free to play with those who passed before him and I know he is chasing around those dogs of his. Until we meet again Daddy.....XOXO
