Jennie M. Brown Draney November 7, 1920 ~ October 22, 2012Jennie was born on November 7, 1920 in Ammon, Idaho near Idaho Falls, in her Grandma Hattie Mattison’s home. Together with her ten brothers and sisters; she spent her childhood years with her parents Al and Buela Brown in Salmon, Idaho; all together she had twelve brothers and sisters. She gently fell asleep in death at the home of her daughter Pam with family at her side. Jennie married Willard Eugene Draney on June 5, 1938, in Farmington, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, her daughter Jeanene and son Michael, granddaughter Spring and grandson Clay. She is survived by four daughters: Sharon Hicks, Pamela Oliveras, Rochell McQuade, Annabell Chips, sons: Danny and Lewis Shane Draney and sister Claire Betty. She had a love for life that she would readily share with all, young and old alike, her home was a haven of peace and her door always opened to all. In her final years she shared her home and life with her older sister Claire. They would delight all of us with their accounts of life on the Salmon River. We will always remember the joyful way she whistled like a bird. She taught us the names of many wild flowers and had great respect and love for all of God’s creatures, large and small. There was never a baby or plant that didn’t love our mother, because they thrived under her care. What a gracious and gentle lady. She gave so much kindness and joy to my family, thank you for sharing her. What a beautiful service. It truly was a tribute to such a wonderful soul. Her grand children's voices in song were the sound of angels...her angels. She lives on in their twinkling eyes and gentle hearts.

I seen this email CD presentation, when Pat called me into the bed room to see this program, I had not cried yet, and that released I guess the natural emotion that death brings. Ever since Spring my daughter passed from this existence to the next I have realized that I have never really returned to a completely un-saddened state but that is very normal, I have been assured from others, who have under gone a loss of a child at no matter at what age they may have been. Sweet grandma Draney lost many of her children and grandchildren too, she was blessed to have seen so many of them reach adulthood, and to have laughed and cried with all of us; and sought to give us her wisdom, in order for us to carry on. "Momma is riding the wings of a Meadowlark, and smelling the Sweet Williams down by the “Water Cress Tree”, there is a sweet spirit I smell even now. Thank you mom, for teaching me to be aware of such feelings . ~ Your son Shane

Dear Pam and Family:I can't tell you how saddened we were to hear of your mother's death. We have such great memories of both her and your dad as we were growing up. Randy talks about how your dad taught him how to tie his shoes and how kind your mother was. I can hear her voice and her laugh. She will only be asleep for a little while and then she will awaken into a paradise earth. What a wonderful promise Jehovah has given us. Know that our family is thinking of yours and praying that Jehovah will help comfort you and strengthen you all through this difficult time.Rick, Vicki Thiel and Randy Zampedri.
