JoAnn Grace Romero

JoAnn Grace Romero passed away April 28, 2016.  JoAnn was born August 14, 1959 to Jenero Romero and Mary Romero in Clinton, Utah.  She married Pedro Ocampo.

She was a wonder woman who would give to everyone.  She didn’t have a lot, but gave with all her heart.

JoAnn is survived by her spouse, Pedro; children: Michelle Romero, Ralphael Ruiz, Alejandro Ruiz, Elias Romero; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews that love her.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents Jenero and Mary Romero; sisters Mary Plazola, Irene Rodriguez; brothers Burnie Romero, Jenero Romero; son Renee Ocampo; and granddaughter Selena Romero.

There will be a Viewing and Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 – 36th St., Ogden, UT.  Graveside Services will the held Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park, 836-36th St., Ogden.

Interment:  Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.

We would like to express our condolences to the family and friends of JoAnn Romero. The loss of a loved one is never easy. Our Creator, Jehovah, has provided comfort for us in times like these through his word the Bible. One day we will welcome our loved ones back again (John 5:28, 29) and death and mourning will be done away with (Revelations 21:3,4).
