Joshua Justin Fraser beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away in his home September 26, 2014. He was born on April 6, 1971 in Ogden, Utah to John and Melinda Fraser (Pauli).
Josh was a project superintendent and valued employee for Pauli Systems for 7 years traveling worldwide including Portugal, Iceland, Japan, Korea and across the nation. Josh spent decades in the building trades, enjoying the outdoors, the creative expression of craftsmanship and the many friends made.
Josh was generous beyond fault, without regard for his own well-being. He cared deeply about all those around him and was always ready to help everybody and anybody. He seemed to know when help was needed and was the first to come, without being asked, and would always “get ‘r done”. He accepted everyone for who they were without judgment and helped them find value in themselves. He remains a role model for many.
He was loving, kind, generous and accepting, with a special sense of humor. He loved children and animals and they loved him (except elk). His passion was hunting and guiding for elk, snowmobiling, skiing, fishing and boating. He also loved rodeo where he both participated in and judged bull riding. He approached life like riding a bull, and he lived “cowboy crazy”.
Josh is survived by his mother, Melinda and stepfather Bob Pauli; his brother, Zak (Elisa) Fraser; his stepmother Margie Fraser; his girlfriend Marcie Pentz; his adoring nieces and nephews: Nikky, Tommy, Tony and Sarah Fraser. He also leaves behind many caring aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. His large extended family will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his father John Fraser and his grandparents, Milton and Esther Fraser and Ralph and Elgene Lowe.
A final roundup of friends and family will be held in his honor at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 – 36th St., Ogden, UT on Saturday, October 3,, 2014 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in his honor.
