Heaven called a very special Angel home on June 21, 2016. Joyce Isaac Knight passed away after a very long and courageous battle with cancer.

Joyce is survived by her husband Gary; five daughters; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother; and her constant companions Lilly and Wendell.

We would like to give a special “Thank You” to Dr. Carl Grey and his staff with the Utah Oncology Department for the wonderful care Joyce received through the years.

Services will be held at a later date, per family’s request.

Arrangements under the direction of Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

Even if you know it's coming your never prepared for how it feels .That sums up my feelings for sure! Mom I thought you would be around forever ! I have so many great memories and am so hAppy you could see 4 of my six children come into this world. Please watch over them and kep them safe . I remember when I was a little girl how you fixed my hair just the way I wanted and made sure me and Jennifer looked just so perfect and fresh. I remember your port roast was always the best and everything else you made was perfect! I remember that you always had a jar of mentholatum beside your bed, which I still do to this very day! The dance costumes u sewed and drill team outfits I will never forget and the countless other things you sewed for us you were an amazing seamstress! I will never forget how much you loved tomatoesI could gone on forever about everything I will miss but mom I love you and I want you to know you were the best mom I could of asked for! I miss you all day everyday and that will never change. I imagine you healthy and hAppy with your family and friends by your side that make things easier for me. Gary, Cassie and I are so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Both Joyce and you are special people. If there is anything at all we can do please let us know. Sorry we are so late getting to you but we have been out of town. If you haven't held a service/memorial for her yet we would certainly like to know when it is. Sincerely, Bruce And Cassie Wood

Gary, I am so sorry to read of the loss of your wife, Joyce. I think about you occasionally and appreciate the good times we had and how kind you were to my children. We lost Todd in 2012. I am happily married and have lived in Ogden for 30 years. I know it will be hard for you to be alone but hope you can remember all the happy memories of your life with Joyce and that will sustain you. Please give my condolences and best wishes to your daughters.
