Dear Donna and All Family Members, What devastating news to learn of Bob's passing. He just was a great friend, and above all, had a smile that always made you feel welcomed. He will always be remembered by all his Antiques, and his real compassion for everyone that needed his help. I remember when I called him and said, Bob I have a Barber's Chair for your collection. He immediately sent his son to pick it up. He then sent me a thank you card three pages long and signed it, Soooooooooooo grateful for your kindness and remembering me. He just was the best of the best no matter what capacity you knew him in. You lost a man of dignity and full of life and fun. His Jag ( Car ) was his pride.

I worked with Bob in the court system. I clerked the court proceedings for him many times. He was very quick humored and knew the court system very well. He will be missed. His passing will be hard for his family and especially Donna. To his family take care and my prayers go out to each of you.

Goodbye old friend. Our best to all of the family at this difficult time. Bob has always been such a teacher and an example to all of the attorneys. He was blessed with a great mind and understanding of the law. I will miss his humor and his clever wit. Take care of his collection of old Mormon history and exhibits in his collection. Our prayers are with you in this time of sadness.

Robert always had a sharp mind and expansive knowledge about many subjects. His wit was recognized and appreciated even when dealing with serious subjects.

I am sorry to read of Mr. Phillips passing. I have a lot of good memories of both Mr. And Mrs. Phillips trying to give me some good advice of which I obviously didn't pay attention to. I always did enjoy talking to them and I always felt welcome in their house. Mr. Phillips had a black Mercedes that I thought was the neatest car in the world and this was in the days when hot rods were king. On the down side, I will not be able to attend either the viewing or the service today. May God bless and keep you in His arms.

Dear Phillips family, you are in my heart and I pray God grant you comfort and peace. As a young and stupid teen, Bob stepped up and saved my life. I've never forgotten that and I am duly grateful. He was an exceptional man and you are an exceptional family. I have been priveleged to have found friendship there for many cherished years. Again, my heart and payers are with you.

Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time for your family. I was a judge in the Second District for over 21 years and knew Bob well. He was always well prepared and knowledgeable. It was a great pleasure having had the opportunity to meet and know Bob. He will be missed in the legal community. I am very sorry for your loss.
