Kim Eugene Packwood, age 64, passed away on September 26, 2017, from complications following emergency heart surgery. He was born September 30, 1952, to Bob and Janet Packwood in Turlock, California where he spent his childhood. The family then moved to Everett, Washington where he graduated from Cascade High School. Kim was incredibly intelligent, hard working and had a great sense of humor. He was a selfless dedicated family man.
Kim resided for many years in Newport Beach, California where he raised his three children and had a successful General Contracting Business. He loved boating, fishing, camping, ATV riding and was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed grilling and cooking for his friends and family.
From Newport, he moved to Utah to be close to his cherished children and grandsons. He then met, fell in love and was engaged to Dana Jones. At every level, he was living his dream life. He was a well-respected and loved man and will be sorely missed by his fiancée, Dana Jones; son, Kristopher Packwood; daughters Katherine Packwood and Karissa Contreras; son-in-law, Rafael Contreras; and his grandsons, Troy and Adrian. He is also survived by his sisters, Sherry (Leon) Smith and Raunell (Cam) Shaffer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Janet Packwood; and sister, Janie Packwood. Celebrations of his life will be held privately.
