Leo Allen Moody

August 4, 1960 - December 26, 2017

Leo A. Moody, 57, passed away suddenly on December 26, 2017.  Leo was born August 4, 1960 to Clifford C. Moody and Vera Jean in Ogden, Utah.

Leo was a very caring man and would go out of his way to give a helping hand; never to take a hand out.  He was very prideful, head strong and a hard working man.  Leo enjoyed collecting/restoring various antiques and learning the history behind them.  He also was an avid collector of anything Budweiser.  In his spare time, Leo enjoyed his time with his youngest son, Nolz, and true love Tina.

In his passing he would not want anyone to cry, but celebrate his life and the many lessons, whether good or bad we learned from him.  Leo was just a people pleaser; one to go out of his way to see someone smile if they were having a bad day.

You will be very missed, but never forgotten.

He is survived by:  Neil (Brandy) Moody, Tina (Bob) Smith, Nathan Moody, Nicholas Moody, Thomas Rudolph, Noah Moody, Nolz Moody; his two brothers Dennis and Ed Moody; and his true love, Tina Shea, of 15 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two brothers John and Gerald Moody; and nephew Clifford Jim Moody.

Leo leaves behind a lot of special friends, too many to mention, but I would like to especially thank Linda Mayne, Crystal Smith, Katie Hood and Eddy Goodson, Sara Chevalier and Dan Wettstein and Jamie Gallegos, and a very special thanks to Deborah Peterson  Kent Moody.

Leo will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services for Leo will be private.

My love, how I miss you so. Your viewing was yesterday afternoon, as you well know. It was nice and there were several people that attended, most I knew, a couple I didn't and a couple that I wished hadn't come. I know that's wrong of me to say and of course selfish, I'm sorry. Our son handled it pretty well. He was nervous at first to come up and see you again...He misses his daddy so, so much! But when the blanket arrived, Matt the gentleman that put it all together asked Nolz, "how would you like to help me keep your dad warm?" And of course he said yes. We love and miss you so much Leo and so many others do too. Again, I keep waiting for you to come thru the door and Nolz keeps waiting for you in the mornings to come out of the bedroom and say, "what's up nerd?" But we both know that isn't going to happen and it saddens us to no end. We will love you always and will never forget how wonderful you were as a father and my partner...Gone, but never forgotten. I will see you on the other side Leo Moody and once again we'll be together for eternity. I love you!

Leo, I got to know you within the last six months quite a bit. I even told my friends and adopted family that you where like a uncle to me. Even know there was no blood relation. I won't ever forget your nickname for me the copper head. Also won't forget our nights we played remember that tune or music and the many things you taught me how to do things easier and faster with scrap metal work. Also all the history behind antiques. I won't ever for get out nights of hanging out with you and Tina and Linda. Specially cause colt remembers you as "Leo the LION." Than when you would be falling asleep and linda, Tina, and me would sing in the jungle the mighty jungle Leo the Lion asleep tonight.... And Tina and Linda would howl lol... Miss you so much Leo please rest with the Aliens and lions tonight... Thank you Leo the Lion...

Since the first day I met you we were kindred spirits, we just GOT each other's personalities instantly. You taught me too many things about meat cutting, and life in general to even begin to mention. It was always you, and me Budweiser and a grey blazer with pizza hut cheese sticks between us! Whether it was us tearing up the back roads or just hanging out at the house with the kids it was always a riot! You made sure I had a place to stay when I had nowhere to go and I'm thankful for you and all of your lessons everyday.

Leo, You will be missed everyday. If you had not been there for me and my family when Jim passed I am not sure I would have made it through. You were my angel on earth! You and Jim need to rest in peace together but something tells me that there won't be much rest happening. I see you are already messing with the obituary!

LEO, YOU AND I WOULD TALK FOR DAYS ON THE ANTIQUES WE COME ACROSS LIKE COINS, STAMPS, POST CARDS, BATMAN AND BASEBALL CARDS. YOU TAUGHT ME WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR AND WHO TO GO TOO TO GET MORE INFO. YOU ALWAYS CAME AROUND WITH A SMILE AND JOKE TO LAUGH AT. YOU WAS VARY PROUD OF NOLZ AND TALKED ABOUT HOW PROUD YOU WAS OF HIM. WE ALL MISS YOU AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU AS THE WHITES MEXICAN WE KNOW. LOL ( C C )

Leo...You were and always will be the love of my life! I miss you so much, it's hard to believe that you are really gone. I keep waiting for you to come through the door and say, "What up hookers?" But I know that will never happen. I made you a promise while you were in the hospital and I promise you, I will do right by you. Nolz misses you so much, he's such a trooper. I gave him your pillow and he sleeps much better now. He can feel you when you rub his back and he just gets the the biggest smile ever. We know you're with us in spirit, thank you my love for being in my life. Forever yours....Your Boo
