Loretta Lehrmann Frecker

December 29, 1958 - December 24, 2015

Loretta Lehrmann Frecker passed away peacefully at home on Christmas Eve surrounded by her loving family after a short, valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born December 29, 1958 to Donna Christensen and Bernard Lehrmann in Ogden, Utah.

Loretta married Douglas Frecker on March 8, 1975 in Ogden, Utah.  Together they had three children, Tina McCubbin (Cory), Steven (Shylah) and Jason (Megan) Frecker.

She loved the outdoors, camping, 4-wheeling and deer camp with family and friends.  She loved gardening in the summer and grew the best garden around.  She grew huge tomatoes!  She canned in the fall and shared her harvest with everyone.

Most of all, Loretta loved being a grandma to her eight grandbabies, Alaina, Lyric, Leah, Chevy, Krislyn, Tucker, Jaydon and Rushton.

She worked as the office manager at Woodruff Auto in Pleasant View, Utah.  Woody and the boys were her other family, whom she mothered like her own.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Doug; children and grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Dallan)  Williams; sister in law, Suzette Lehrmann; and many nieces and nephews and their children, whom she loved very  much.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Daniel Lehrmann and grandparents.

A Viewing will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary.  Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 12:45 to 1:45 pm.

Condolences for Loretta Lehrmann Frecker

Cathy Butler posted on 12/31/15

Hi, my name is Cathy. I am so sorry for the loss of a loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon our Heavenly Father will swallow up death forever, and that he will wipe away all tears. So we can look forward to the time when death will be no more, and when all those I the memorial tombs will be resurrected (John 5:28,29). I hope these scriptures can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

Doug and kids ..... I had no idea this had happened... I am so sorry for your loss. Way too young and too quick. I adored your mom . She was a kind woman with a big big heart. May you keep all your memories tucked safely in your heart .

Tina, Cory, Alaina and Lyric! I am so sorry for your loss and the "bad" timing if there is such a thing. I am sorry I did not get to know your lovely mother and grandmother but I am sure she is a wonderful woman as you are a part of her! My love and thoughts are with you! May she meet up with my big boy and enjoy a deer hunting camp story! Love, Aunt Kim
