Louella Marie McIver

July 20, 1935 - November 29, 2016

Louella Marie McIver, 81, passed away at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah on November 29, 2016.  She was born July 20, 1935 in McCammon, Idaho to James and Alma Sutton.


Louella was raised in Pocatello, Idaho.  She married Duane Eugene McIver on January 14, 1953.  Together they raised four children:  Duane Lee McIver, Rose (Brad) Jex, Mickey (KT Coons) McIver and Michael (Jeri) McIver.  They also raised a nephew, David Haas.


Louella is survived by her husband and children, grandchildren:  Brian McIver, Deena McIver, Jami (Nicole Dozier) McIver, Sable (Blake) Barney, DeeJay McIver, Jennifer Haviland, Justin Hoffman, Logan McIver; great-grandchildren:  Tempest and Dahlia McIver, Mara and Timmy Haviland, Jessie and Becca Hoffman and Mason, Kayden and Nevin McIver; sister; Faye Nelson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arlene Baney, June Rosa, John (Betty) McIver and Dennis (Darla) McIver and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; her special nephew, David Haas; her special daughter-in-law, Donna McIver; brother-in-law, Jim McIver; two grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Jex and Caitlyn Jerica McIver.


There will be no services.  Please just think of her fondly in the coming days and do something kind for someone in her memory.

I remember when we all were in Mesquite Nevada eating at a restaurant and I asked her to pass me the jam and her reply to me was Jam your ass on a rock. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to cry she was a fun lady to be around very sweet very kind-hearted to us we will sure miss her our love and prayers go out to her family .

We met Louella and Duane on the day they moved to live with their son & daughter in law. We learned soon that she was loving and enjoyed visiting with friends. We will miss those visits. Love, Bill and Terri
