Lynette was born August 21, 1949 in Logan, Utah to parents Elmer Hall Obray and Lora Welch.  She graduated Bonneville High School class of 1967.  Lynette married her sweetheart, Ron Ferro, in Ogden on June 1, 1968.  She worked at Golden West Credit Union for the last 35 years, surrounded by wonderful friends and colleagues.

Lynette is survived by her loving husband Ron Ferro, two adored sons Gino (Nova) Ferro, Michael (Jennifer Green) Ferro, her beloved sister Loralee (Zane) Gordon and her treasured brother-in-law Michael (Donna) Ferro. She was preceded in death by her mother Lora Welch Obray and her brother Stanford Obray.

Her husband, Ron, is grateful for the 51 wonderful years he got to spend with her.  He loved her unconditionally each and every day.  Lynette’s kindness and joy was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She met life with compassion and a boundless sense of humor.  Wherever she was, there too was happiness.  Lynette left us countless beautiful memories and her love and grace will always be our guide.

When Lynette was there, there were always two lines waiting for the tellers at GWCU: one for Lynette and one for the others. She was more than a business acquaintance, she was a friend to everyone and all of us felt that she valued us as her friends. My parents, Gary & Viva Jean Hyer would wait as long as necessary to talk with her about their business because they knew that Lynette would be able to answer their questions and she would go the extra mile to help them. I came to feel the same way. I think she lived her life with love and charity until she became an angel here on earth and it was time for her to move onward and upward where she will meet her beloved family and her friends when it is our turn to follow her. Though I have never met you, her family, my heart aches in sympathy with you. I pray that our Heavenly Father will wrap his love around you like a comforting blanket as you grieve for her departure. When someone has lived a life for others has she has done, it leaves a huge void in the lives of those who remain. I pray that the wonderful memories you have made with her will sustain you until you meet again. With love and sympathy, Linda Byram

Lynette was one of the gentlest women we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and having in our lives. Her spirit is the purest, her smile infectious and her hear the biggest. Our lives will never be the same without her in it. There is something to be said about where she is headed, but our earthly selfish bodies want her here with us. Lynette got her wings and is headed to heaven - but she was our Angel here on earth all of these years. We love you so very much Lynette and we will miss you terribly. Come home to visit - when you can. Love forever and always .... Kurt, Bruce, Tasha & Oly Musgrave
