Caree,Jesse,Tina,Angie,Jeremiah Oct.18,2011It was a very touching, heart felt funeral.Mary Etta would be very proud of all her children and grand children.I met Mary Etta over 40 yrs ago at the old tennis club. She was from Mississippi and I was from So.Car and with our friend Marty from New Orleans we bonded immediately. We laughed together, cried together and had many good times together.I have never known anyone more loving, giving or caring than Mary Etta.My husband likes to tell the story, while we were in Las Vegas, we stopped to visit she and Bob. Mary Etta made us some Stephens Hot Chocolate. She said the directions say 1 scoop, but I always put 2. 2 scoops make it so much better. We never have Stephens chocolate without thinking of her.We had the kind of friendship that it didn't matter if we saw each other every week or every 6 mos. We picked right up where we left off.I have one of her paintings I will always cherish.I look forward to being with my friend again.Shirley Woods Clark

She was nothing but good to me. I still see her setting up Jeremiah's wedding luncheon table in our living room. She loved those New Orleans beads. She was a good woman. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I know she loved you all dearly.Bunny
