Mary Patricia GoldeMary Patricia Golde of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 88 to join the Lord at 7:15 a.m., January 12, 2013. Born to Mary Fowler and Frederick Zarth on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1924 in Manhattan, New York, Mary married her High School sweetheart Harold William Golde on June 22, 1947 and they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past summer. Mary is survived by Harold, daughters Carolyn Donaghey and Barbara Davis, twin sons Rick and Paul Golde, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Viewing is available on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403 with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. (visitation 1:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m.) on Tuesday, January 15, also at Leavitt’s Mortuary. Internment services will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, Bluffdale, UTMary was a blood donor at the American Red Cross for many years and her wishes were that in lieu of flowers, donations could be made to your local Red Cross chapter. We can hear Mom say now from above, “Give blood!”, so if you can, donate in her honor.

R.I.P. my beautiful grandma! I love you so much and will miss you. I am thankful you waited for us to arrive so we could spend your last days on Earth with family by your side. I am blessed to know you passed peacefully in your sleep and that you are with our Lord and Savior for eternity. I will see you again someday and we will make more memories.
