I am very sorry to hear of Matthew's passing. He is a very handsome man. I believe we are related, but I don't know exactly how. I am the daughter of Ralph and Helen McCloy from Murray, UT.

I could not believe it when I heard of Matt's passing. Matt and I go way back to when he worked with is dad and we would paint is cars every few months. Matt was a loyle and good feind. We had not been in contact for a few years and often thought of him. May he rest in pease and be driving a nice MarkIII.

This is a big shock to me. I knew Matt well in the "old days" In fact I still have a picture of his Pink Lincoln some place. Its parked next to my 61 Cadillac he helped me get and build. I hired Matt and he and I became friends, he was a great guy that could make you laugh and was ready to help anyone in need. I will admit time and moves caused our friendship to get a bit lost but I will miss him and remember him forever. Jerry Carnahan or JC as he would call me.

Matt, you always treated me so well and were so kind to everyone. The good old days at Farmers Insurance were certainly made better by a gentleman like you and the roundtable discussions during breaks were always lifted by your great laugh. What a pleasure to have worked with you over the years. You left much too soon. Rest in peace for now and I will see you on the other side.

Matt, no one had more fun together traveling than you, me and our boss at the time Lynn. I adored you more than you will ever know and we worked together in California a lot and had a great time. You are smart, cute, and fun. I wish we had made more contact while we were apart from each other but we will always be together in our hearts. I love you, my dear friend....Anne M. Fry

Hey Matt, I know you can read this. Hearing of your passing made me sad. We had such great times together. I will never forget the "sick eye" picture, and the movie nights at your house. I will cherish the Edward Hopper picture you gave me . You always compared me to Lily Tomilin when it came to my secretarial skills. lol. Rest in peace my friend. You will always have a special place in my heart.
