Michael Lynn Stevenson, 49 years old, passed away suddenly from a heart attack at his home in Ogden, Utah on the 7th of October, 2012 just hours away from reaching his 50th birthday. Michael was born on the 8th of October, 1962, in Ogden, Utah to Thomas Allen Stevenson and Mary Lou Jean Allen. He lived his entire life in Ogden. He went to school in the Ogden School district and graduated from Ogden High School in the class of 1981. Michael wed Robin Lynn Tucker in 1982 and they had two children, Jared Alan Stevenson and Carly Delaine Stevenson. They later divorced.Mike loved fishing, and he had a love of aviation and piloting small aircraft.He was employed, for a time, by Great Western Aviation at the Ogden Airport.At the time of his death he was employed at Pizza Runner in Ogden. He is survived by his former wife Robin, their children Jared (Verily) Stevenson and Carly Stevenson. Brothers and sisters Linda (Alfred) Zubal, Hollis Stevenson, Thomas (Janie) Stevenson, John (Karen) Stevenson, Debbie (Don) Rodenbough, Delaine (John) Burton, Niece, Laura (James) Smith, Nephews, William Burton, Quinn Stevenson, and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents Thomas Allen Stevenson and Mary Lou Jean Allen Stevenson.A Celebration of Michaels life will be held at 5:00 PM Friday atThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3rd Ward 435 North Jackson Ave. Ogden, UtahThere will be no viewing.Cremation under the direction of Leavitt’s MortuaryIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leavitt’s Mortuary, to help with the final expenses.

Mike, I will always remember how welcoming you were to me when Jared and I got engaged. Today when we went through your wallet we pulled out the picture of me we sent you with my graduation announcement and it was so touching to know that you saw me as a daughter.
