Condolences for Mildred Ladean Bowen

I just heard about Mildred's passing. My family and I are so very sad. We lived by her for several years before me moved last year. We would stop by when we were in the area so my kids and I could visit her and Annie. In fact we saw her not to long ago and so this was definitely a shock. She would talk of her life and it was so fascinating and amazing to me. I loved hearing of her life and seeing the creations she would sew and those beautiful quilts! Just lovely. My kids have very happy and loving memories of both Mildred and Annie. I have memories of her holding them both when they were babies and we still have the doll that she made and gave to us. She will remain a strong influence for us and a positive happy memory for my kids as they grow. Much love to all of you.
