Myra Marguerite CarterMyra Marguerite Carter was born 10 Aug 1944 to Hugo and Amelia “Molly” Di Giantomasso in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Myra had passed away 3 June 2012 due to complications from diabetic neuropathy and Parkinson’s disease at home.Myra married Ronald Carter 6 Oct 1990 in Monterey Park, CA and resided in Farr West, UT. She graduated from high school in Temple City, CA then continued her education to become a medical transcriptionist. Throughout her life she worked as a volunteer at many places which included Fairfield City Senior Services Center; CA, Weber Human Services, Ogden Regional Medical Center, Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Weber/Morgan/ Box Elder counties, the American Red Cross of Northern Utah in the Ogden office, and served on the board of the Ogden Association for the Blind. She retired working at the Roy Hill Senior Center.Myra was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Carter, her brother Ralph Di Giantomasso (Janna Lee) and step-daughter Tanya Colleen Haymes Carter. Surviving are two step- children Deborah Inman Carter of Pleasant View, UT and William Carter Sr. (Ronda) of North Vernon, IN. She also has 9 step-grandchildren and 11.2 step-great grandchildren.Myra was a member of the community United Methodist Church in which Pastor Diane Bell will be officiating. Services for Myra will be held Wednesday June 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th Street in Ogden. A viewing will be held Tuesday June 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the services. Please send your condolences and a memory at www.leavittsmortuary.com

MY MEMORIES OF MY AUNT WAS JUST HOW AMAZING SHE REALLY WAS . WE WOULD GO FOR WALKS DOWN ROSEMEAD BLVD ,HOW SHE WOULD HAVE ALL THE ANSWER TO THE GAME SHOWS ON TELEVISION .BUT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IS HOW SHE TREATED EVERYONE SHE MEANT NEVER A UNKIND WORD DID I EVER HEAR HE SPEAK OF ANYONE .SHE ALWAYS HAD THE PRETTY SMILE AND SHE ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL SO SPECIAL IN HER PRESCENSE IT WAS BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH HER FALL IN LOVE WITH HER HUSBAND RON AND A VERY GREAT WEDDING IT WASI WILL TRULY MISS HER SMILE AND LAUGH BUT I KNOW SHE IS JOING HER WONDERFUL HUSBAND ,PARENTS MY DAD AND BROTHER SO SHE IS IN GOOD COMPANY .WITH OUR LORDMISS YOU AUNTIELOVE GAYLENE

Myra was a very neat lady. I hadn't seen or talked to her in many years, but remember her as fun, strong & nice lady at family get togethers. My dad George, gave her away at her wedding & that was always a proud moment in his life. He really admired Myra, as did I. Blessed be her memory.
