My earliest memories of time with Aunt Pat was when Grandma and Grandpa Smith would go out of town and I would go out to stay with Aunt Pat. I was 6 years younger than she was, so I was confused who was tending who! I soon found out that I was there to keep an eye on my teenage Aunt Pat so she wouldn't go out and get in trouble while they were gone! Those are fun memories. Later in life as I traveled with my job I would often stop in the Bountiful café where Aunt Pat was a cook. We always had such great visits and she would cook me such a wonderful breakfast. She was more of a friend/sibling than an Aunt to me, and definitely a favorite! She also was always so good to my Mother. I love her and am grateful she was a part of my life.

Aunt Pat is my favorite Aunt. When I was very young Aunt Pat would take me swimming at Fairmont Park. She would always make me feel important to her. Even when I called her a week ago Aunt Pat was helpful to me with suggestions for my wife Sally. I always enjoyed calling her, telling her one of my jokes, and hearing her very special laugh. I will miss her a lot. I will always cherish Aunt Pat.
